Make pins people save

A great pin shows the place, plays your clip and answers "should I go?" in five seconds. Complete pins get more views and saves, and show up better on Explore.

1. 1 Add 3 or more good photos
   • Your first photo is the cover everywhere — make it the best one: the signature dish, the view, the vibe.
   • Shoot in daylight or near a window. Avoid dark, blurry or tilted shots.
   • Mix it up: one close-up of the food/activity, one of the place (entrance or seating), one with people enjoying it.
   • Portrait (vertical) photos look best on phones. No screenshots with app buttons on them.
2. 2 Add the link to your clip
   • Paste your Instagram, YouTube Shorts or TikTok link — the clip plays right on the pin.
   • Pins with a clip get the play button on Explore and far more taps.
3. 3 Write a real description (150+ characters)
   • Say what to order or do, the price range, the best time to go and one honest tip ("go before 7pm, it gets packed").
   • Write like you talk to a friend. Emojis are fine; walls of hashtags are not.
4. 4 Add 3 or more #tags
   • Use what people search: the dish (#coldcoffee), the vibe (#rooftop), the area (#prahladnagar).
   • Tags put your pin on tag pages and in search results.
5. 5 Pick the real place from the search
   • When adding a pin, choose the place from the search list (Google) instead of dropping a pin by hand.
   • That links your pin to the business page, where every creator's clip for that place is shown together.
6. 6 Add an offer to stand out
   • Ask the place for a code for your followers: "10% off with code VANSH10".
   • Put the % off, what it's valid on and an expiry date. Pins with offers get the pink Offer badge on the map.
7. 7 Get people engaging
   • Share the pin link in your story and bio — shared links bring new visitors and saves.
   • The more people save your pin, the more it shows up for others.
